Hello!

My name is Katherin Lopez Perez. I am a first-generation graphic design student excited to learn and create. Outside of design, I love camping, baking, fishing, and hanging out with friends, as well as spending time with my family and having a good time. I also enjoy going to restaurants and trying new foods, which is always one of my favorite things to do. One thing I will always be doing is taking pictures of everything, no matter how basic it may seem. A fun fact about me is that I have been to Harvard! It was an amazing experience that I will never forget.

My Purpose As A Designer

Art has always been a way for me to express myself and connect with others, and it continues to shape how I approach design today. My Hispanic heritage influences me deeply, its vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and craftsmanship inspire me to see how even the simplest design can carry personality. I am developing my skills with a strong interest in branding and packaging design. My goal is to create work that helps products stand out while telling meaningful stories that connect with people from diverse backgrounds. I am especially passionate about exploring a wide range of artistic styles, moving beyond those most commonly used. I am drawn to advertising design, where there is potential to help businesses differentiate themselves and attract customers through creative, thoughtful visual solutions.
