Personal Brand
Creating my own personal brand was challenging because I wanted it to truly represent me. I was inspired by the unique Hispanic textiles and colors. Working on this project, I learned to create many different versions, layouts, and how to effectively use space and pattern. This project helped me understand the importanceof visual identity and intentional design choices.

Process
When I first started creating my logo I had no idea what do. I started by thinking of what represented me. To begin my process I started sketching different ways in which I could lay out my initials because my name is an important part of who I am. In Hispanic culture it is common to have two last names your mom’s and your dad’s. That it why I wanted to include all three initials into my logo. I also used AI to help me come up with a logo ideas as seen below. I changed them to fit my personality better. As you can see I was inspired by many different colors from the Taza’s in the image. Which means mug and I wanted to use some of its colors for my logo. I also tried out many different font parings until I found one I liked. As you can see on the image on the right how many different corner patterns I tried before finally creating one that looked good.
Final Logo & Colors
I created each corner design individually and different versions so it could be used on different products. I only chose two colors as my final ones because I wanted to keep it simple. Especially since the focus was the logo and the pattern in the corners. I chose the light colored orange because it reminds me of light colored clay. Both colors were actually taken from the image above with all the mugs. For my second color I chose a dark blue that would make the orange stand out and they compliment each other well.
